In a way, it’s a reason for them to forget about updating. If the content was downloadable they’d have to keep updating to keep people interested.
One of the great things about membership is the bonus content that comes with it. There are 28 reality sites, and most of them actually offer downloadable content. Of the more than 1,500 full length episodes available there are roughly 200 that can be downloaded and more coming each week. In fact, they update 15-20 times per week. That alone might be worth the price of admission.
