The tour for Do Pornstars isn’t going to impress much. They don’t offer anything beyond sample pictures that you’ve probably seen at a hundred other sites and claims of thousands of high bandwidth films available for viewing. There are plenty of high quality porn star sites on the web, but this doesn’t really look like one of them. They’ve got pictures of the big time girls like Amber Michaels, Devon, Tabitha Stevens and Sky Lopez, but they’re all stuff that anyone can get their hands on. I’m quite curious to see the member’s area and find out if they deliver any real porn star content.
Browsing through the password protected area of Do Porn Stars has me thinking about the definition of porn star. Technically, it seems like a porn star is anyone that has appeared in a porn video. They’ve starred in a porn scene, so if you really want to stretch it you can call them a porn star. However, I think that when most people envision a porn star they’re thinking of someone that has become famous through their appearances on film. Jenna Jameson is the world’s most popular porn star, which is probably why they reference her name on the tour. However, you won’t be seeing any of the lovely Ms. Jameson inside this site.
The main page has a list of the bonus sites that you get as a member. They’re all reality sites, which means they try their best not to hire porn stars so they can maintain an amateur look and feel. You’ll see a few popular names pop up on the sites – Hillary Scott and Jennifer Dark to name a few – but for the most part the girls you think of as porn stars won’t be appearing. Hoping to find the content I was promised I head to the videos section. There are more than 100 streaming video feeds listed, but it appears as though the genuine porn star content is in short supply.

The first, which I thought would be the one most likely to have genuine porn stars, is called Casting for Porn. It’s a reality site that features college aged girls hoping to make it to the big time in porn by fucking on camera. The scenes are really hot and they offer downloadable content, but almost none of the girls are recognizable (which is the whole point of the site). Next on the list is Before They Were Stars, which is supposed to be a throwback site showing you present day porn stars fucking on film long before they got famous. It’s a good idea, but there are only five girls here and only two that I recognize (Cytheria and Sativa Rose).
Strangely, many of the sites listed after those two are shemale related, which doesn’t quite match the general tone of the site and certainly doesn’t fit with what was pitched on the tour. Figuring the videos weren’t going to give me the true porn star content I was looking for I headed to the picture galleries in hopes of a greater discovery. There I found the same Before They Were Stars page and another named Porn Star Playground. There were four picture galleries on the Playground, each featuring a hot porn star doing her thing. These are the galleries that they have preview pictures for on the front page. They’re not exclusive and they’re not particularly unique, but they are pure porn star content. You’ll also see a page titled Fetish Rage that has four galleries featuring porn stars in latex.
In short, Do Porn Stars isn’t really a porn star site at all. They’ve got a lot of content and there are porn stars sprinkled in here and there, but let’s not kid ourselves. A real porn star site is entirely dedicated to the famous ladies of fucking, and that’s just not the case here. Porn stars are hugely popular, so I understand why they would put up a site like this. They want to capitalize on that popularity and make a little bit of money. However, it feels disingenuous to me.
What I do like about the site is the huge volume of content available to you. There are tons of videos and pictures to browse through. First you’ve got the 30 reality sites that you get as a baseline bonus. Each has downloadable videos in HD and streaming clips in multiple resolutions. There are 15-20 updates per week and they add new sites every now and then. Second you’ve got the video feeds, many of which also offer downloadable content in HD. Those that don’t let you stream it whenever you’d like and some are very well implemented.
It’s impossible to recommend Do Porn Stars to someone that’s looking for pure porn star content. You’re not going to find it here. Instead you’ll find more than 2,000 full length hardcore videos, many of which can be downloaded and watched whenever you choose. You’ll get new updates every week and there are even erotic stories you can read when you’re feeling the desire for arousal. It’s really a complete collection of content, just minus the porn star stuff.
